Japanese animated darkish fantasy “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Hashira Coaching” was No. 1 in theaters on Friday, incomes $5.525 million, according to IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.
The motion flick, based mostly on a manga collection, opened in theaters on Feb. 2.
It managed to beat out “Bob Marley: One Love,” which moved right down to second place this week with gross sales of $3.7 million.

The film, which stars Dakota Johnson as a clairvoyant paramedic who helps Spider-Man discover a kidnapping sufferer, had the bottom opening for any movie within the Sony “Spider-Man” franchise, which some are attributing to the actress’ unenthusiastic press tour.
“Drive-Away Dolls,” which The Submit known as “dreadful,” took fifth, with simply over $1 million in gross sales.
