Always wear your most comfortable and presentable clothes, yes it should be both! Here’s why! On your first day, maybe you don’t have the issued uniform yet, thus you have to dress for the job and you also have to be comfortable with your own clothes, thus you have to look best and at the same time be comfortable in moving around. Always bring in some extra cash, why? Because of the dynamics in the workplace. so technically you are the new guy thus you don’t know the traditions and cultures in the workplace but still you have to acclimate and be cool with everyone, one thing to do that is to do whatever they do and just go with the flow. For example, during lunch breaks when they invite you to eat with them, you have to comply and you need some cash for that, or when they order some coffee and ask you, you should again comply for the sake of building rapport and connection.

Lastly, is your good attitude! Nothing beats a person with a good sense of attitude around them. So, people generally judge you by the first impressions and by the first impression of your behaviour around them, thus it is important to display a positive atmosphere and predisposition by wearing your great personality and good attitude in your face, always flash and warm authentic smile. This way people accept you faster than when you wear a sullen face at your first day at work.
